Digger wins
Senior Club Championship
Digger, aka Degro, won the Templegusta Senior Club Championship this
past weekend (July 27-28) carding rounds of 72-70 to take the #1 spot in
the championship flight. Digger's two-day 2-under-par 142 total
gave him a one shot victory over perennial winner Harlan Whitley.
Congratulations, Digs.
Scatman
finished tied for 4th with a 72-73 one-over-par total of 145.
Ralph
Squirrels totally embarrassed himself by finishing dead last in the
14-man flight skulling, shanking, and 3-putting his way to an 80-85.
 Little
Boy rallied for a net 65 on day-2 to capture the Super Seniors flight
with a two-day net 8-under total of 134.
Other Pricks
participating included Kardo, who finished 6th in the third flight; Nina
who finished 7th in Flight 4; the Colonel, who finished tied for second in the fifth
flight; and Haydie who finished 5th in the net seventh flight.
BELATED CONGRATS
go out to Budreaux, who won the 4th Flight of the Club Championship July
13-14, with a 78-74. Doogie also participated and scored his first
hole-in-one on the par-3 #13.
